Mesut Ozil and Per Mertesacker are warming down from training.
“Per, what is this Stoke everyone is talking about?” asks Mesut, innocently.”It is somewhere new for me and I was thinking of taking meine Frau with me and making a weekend of it”
The BFG, spluttering over his gatorade, gives Özil his views: “It is a dump, populated by inbreds. The only redeeming factor about Stoke is the A500 because it takes out of the hole.”
Shocked by the ferocity of The BFG’s response, MÖ thought he would seek some further advice.
Olivier Giroud’s retort was: “Ze woman are fugly, I won’t be looking for any pre-game action.”
Aaron Ramsey relayed: “Neanderthals who take pleasure in mocking the afflicted.”
Finding it difficult to believe all this, Mesut went to the top and asked Arsene Wenger for his opinion. Arsene responded with a question: “Is Stoke a s**t hole or is it just populated by a**eholes?”
Saturday 1st March
Mesut, left on the bench to finish his recovery, was still pondering Arsene’s question and was still trying to answer it during his low key cameo (and it showed), at the end of the game.
Sunday 2nd March 2014.
“Arsene, Arsene”
Özil shouts as he is running into training on Sunday morning,
“Now I understand, the answer is BOTH!”
Following Saturday’s depression factor, I thought I would find something on the inter web to possibly cheer up Arsenal fans.
